- 1989 Certificate Literacy / ESL

- 1991 Certificate in TEFL (RSA UCLES)

- 18 years teaching experience in Berlin including general English at all levels from beginners to advanced, business English and specialized business courses

- Extensive freelance experience working as an English teacher for several Berlin language schools and training institutes including: Inpäd, Akademie für Kultur und Bildung, The British Council, Seminar Zentrum Göttingen, Inlingua, Euroschule and Language Associates

- Preparing students for LCCI Examinations (Levels 1-4) and Cambridge Business Examinations (Preliminary and Vantage)

- Oral examiner for LCCI

- Co-teaching one and a half year German commercial foreign language qualification (Fremdsprachenkaufmann/frau) run by the IHK (Chamber of Commerce) in Berlin

- 10 years experience as a freelance translator from German to English covering: job descriptions, CV's, business brochures, presentations, websites, media, architecture, culture, music, economics and academic texts

- Copy editing / sub editing English texts

3. Market Research:

- 12 years experience as a market research consultant for London based marketing and advertising companies including: The Qualitative Consultancy, The Strategic Research Group, The Research Business and Diagnostics Social & Market Research

4. Journalism:

- Researched and wrote my book The Seventies published in the UK and USA by Wayland in 1989

- Researched and wrote articles for publications including: Home Entertainment Design, Sunday Express Magazine and Campaign
